-
2. Measurement & Fitting
Take accurate measurements of the client's head to ensure the wig fits properly and comfortably.
Ensure the measurement includes circumference, front-to-back, ear-to-ear, and nape of the neck.
Ask the client if they have any specific preferences for cap construction, such as lace front, full lace, or wefted caps.
-
3. Material Selection
Present the client with various options for hair type (human hair, synthetic, or blended).
Discuss different textures (straight, wavy, curly) and colors, and provide samples for the client to choose from.
Choose the material that will best fit the client’s style, maintenance preferences, and budget.
-
4. Design & Customization
Work with the client to finalize the wig design based on their preferences and measurements.
Select the appropriate wig cap construction (lace front, full lace, or a combination) for a natural look and comfort.
Customize the hairline, density, and parting to suit the client’s natural hairline and desired style.
-
5. Production Process
Begin the wig-making process by hand-tying hair onto the chosen cap, ensuring attention to detail and precision for a seamless look.
If necessary, customize the wig by adding extra features, such as baby hairs or adjustable straps, to improve comfort and authenticity.
-
6. Styling
Once the wig is constructed, it will be styled according to the client's request. This can include cutting, coloring, or texturizing the hair to match the desired look.
Ensure the wig's length, volume, and texture align with the client's specifications.
-
7. Final Delivery & Maintenance Tips
Once satisfied with the final product, the client receives their custom wig.
Provide the client with detailed care and maintenance instructions to prolong the lifespan and quality of the wig.
Offer options for regular maintenance, such as washing, conditioning, or restyling, to keep the wig in top condition.
-
Follow-up
Schedule a follow-up consultation to ensure the client is happy with the wig and its fit.
Offer adjustments if necessary and ensure they are comfortable with the overall look and maintenance process.
